One Photo In, and the Same Face Came Back Forty Times

The thing that breaks most image tools is the second picture. You get one good render, you go back for another angle, and a different woman walks out. Same prompt, same settings, new person. I have burned whole evenings trying to talk a model into remembering a face it made ten minutes earlier.

xMode starts from the opposite end. You upload one photo, it builds what they call a Face ID, and from that point the identity is locked. I made mine, then ran the same character through a rooftop at night, a kitchen in daylight and a plain studio backdrop. Same bone structure every time. No retraining, no re-uploading, no praying.

Then it goes further than I expected. A Face ID is not only for faces. You can build one for an outfit, a pose, a location or an object, and then stack them: this face, that jacket, that room. Make the pieces once and recombine them forever. At some point it stops feeling like prompting and starts feeling like casting.

The rest is built for volume, which is clearly the crowd they are chasing. Output runs to 2K, you can batch a set instead of clicking one render at a time, any still turns into a short video with one click, and the license lets you use what you make commercially. There are also around 200 prompt packs updated daily, which sound like filler right up until the first time you use one instead of writing a paragraph from scratch. They say 12,000 identities have been built on the platform so far and 10 million images generated.

No Subscription, and That Cuts Both Ways

There is no monthly bill here, which makes it the only tool on this site that is not trying to own a slot on your card. You buy credits and they never expire. Fifty run $11, three hundred run $45, six hundred run $80, and twelve hundred run $140. That last pack works out at under twelve cents a shot against twenty two on the smallest one, so buying in dribs is the expensive way to do it. Card or crypto, and the charge stays discreet.

Now the part I do not like. There is no free tier at all. Not a trial, not a handful of starter credits, nothing. You pay before you see a single render, and every other tool I have written up here lets you look first. For a platform whose entire pitch is identity accuracy, refusing to prove it costs them more than the eleven dollars ever could.

The credits also disappear faster than you expect once you start chasing detail, and detail is exactly where it still slips. Faces hold beautifully. Hands, straps and small hardware do not always. There is a learning curve on the upload too, and the quality of your Face ID is decided by the photo you feed it rather than by anything you type afterward, so give it something sharp and well lit.
