I’ve written a few thousand NSFW prompts, and the femdom prompt took me longest to get right. Not because it’s exotic. Because my words were opinions instead of instructions. I’d type “dominant woman, submissive man, bdsm scene” and get two adults standing politely side by side. Zero hierarchy. Just black leather and vibes.
Then it clicked. The model has no idea what dominance means. It knows a lifted chin, kneeling, a boot on a shoulder. Power in an image is geometry and eyeline. And I write these as scenes between consenting adults, stated in the prompt. Sharpens the render, keeps the intent unmistakable.
Five words that build the hierarchy
These tokens move pixels. The rest is decoration.
- Position: standing over, kneeling at her feet, seated in a high-backed chair while he kneels between her boots.
- Gaze direction: she looks down at him, he looks up at her, eyes lowered to the floor.
- Contact point: gloved hand under his chin, chin lift, fingers in his hair, boot on his shoulder, slack leash.
- Camera height: a low angle at his eye level makes her tower. A high angle flattens her.
- Frame share: she fills the upper two thirds, he takes the lower third. Composition is dominance.
Common fail
Write “dominant” and “submissive” as adjectives and you get two people at identical height, both facing the lens, both smug. Nobody is in charge.
Fix: delete both adjectives. Give one height difference, one gaze direction, one contact point. “She stands, he kneels, she looks down at him, her gloved hand under his chin.” Same idea, now renderable.

The face does the negotiating
Submissive does not mean sad, and models love that mistake. Give the expression a temperature. Defiant. Bratty smirk. Eyes closed, breathing out. Flushed and eager. Other side: calm authority, bored amusement, cold patience. My favorite pairing is a defiant face on a kneeling body. Full word list lives in the NSFW prompt dictionary.
Latex and leather are lighting instructions
Material words control light. Latex means wet gloss and hard speculars, so it needs a hard source and a rim light or it reads as dull painted rubber. Leather is matte with visible grain, happier in warm light. Rope is fiber and shadow. Steel cuffs throw hot pinpoints. Harness straps need a lit edge or they sink into skin.
Common fail
Full latex look, then soft studio lighting, evenly lit. Result: cheap plastic on a mannequin.
Fix: pair the material with its light. “Black latex, hard side light from one practical lamp, rim light along shoulder and hip, deep falloff into shadow.” One hard source, one edge, one dark side.
Rope is where models faceplant hardest
Restraint geometry is the biggest failure point in bdsm ai prompts. Rope melts into skin. Cuffs fuse into a metal blob. It happens because you asked for an elaborate full-body harness in nine words and the model guessed at the physics.
So be boringly literal. One restraint, one anchor, both in frame. Or crop the difficulty out: shoulders-up framing with a leather collar and a slack leash beats a botched harness. Same logic for a strap play or pegging scene. Name the position, the contact, the gaze, keep the hardware simple. If a reference image nailed the rope, run it through the image to prompt page and read the wording back off it.

One lamp beats a whole studio
Mood is contrast. A candle, a desk lamp, a strip of red neon. Say where the light comes from and how much of the frame it loses.

Geometry right, material picking the light, restraints honest. Then it stops looking like costumes and starts looking like a scene with real weight.
